Things You Need To Know To Help You Get Booked
- Sign your name to your e-mails, if your name is not on the e-mail we will not respond.
- When leaving a message say your name and phone number twice and slowly.
- Do not call looking for bookings. We book via email. If it is last minute, and we call you, then you can call us back to get the job.
- Answer your phone! When we have a booking emergency, we go down a list. If you don’t answer your phone, there is a good chance you will lose out on the job.
- Do not call us the day of your show letting us know you don’t have or didn’t get the itinerary. You should get the details of your shows about a month prior. If you don’t have it a week before, please let us know.
- Feel free to use all your social media to bring fans to your shows. If we get feedback that your shows are better attended, we are much more likely to rehire you.
- Please be aware that most jobs have a turnaround time of at least 12 months, and some casinos even longer. We book comics that are actively looking for work. If we don’t hear from you don’t expect to be booked. Once you received an email saying you are on the list, you will be email when we get to your name.
- We are happy that some of you have managers/agents. However, we want to work directly with you. We have had too much miscommunication and problems when we don’t deal directly with our comics. Please contact us directly as we probably won’t answer your managers.
- Unfortunately, most venues only contact us when there is a problem. If you want to be bumped from feature to headliner, let someone at the venue know. If we hear from them, we almost certainly will bump you up.
